Q1.- What are Learning Levers?

A. Learning levers are practical mental tools designed to assist people gain access to content.  Content is the what of learning and is usually assessed with assignments, tests and exams.  Learning levers are essential because they are about how-to make learning easier.  They are tricks of the learning trade, short-cuts for getting things done.

Q2. – How do Learning Levers come about?

A. With appropriate opportunities and guidance learning levers unfold naturally.  Young children’s learning levers involve mostly copying and mimicking.  Unfortunately, that’s where many students remain stuck because teachers don’t know any better, unable to lead them on.  As will be shown in this series, five more advanced levers are available.
